It’s raining apps, so how can you separate the best from the rest? The Mobile Apps Showdown, now in its third year at CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics show, culls the best of breed apps across a number of platforms and a number of categories. Ultimately we select the single best mobile app of the year.
Nominations for the competition are now open. Developers can submit entries to be judged by a panel of tech experts. Readers on the Mobile Apps Showdown website will have a chance to try the apps and weigh in on the vote. Final round judging will take place live at the 2012 International CES, held January 10-13, 2012, in Las Vegas. The top 10 apps will have the opportunity to present in front of a packed house crowd at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The winner will be awarded based on audience response, both online and live in at the LVCC..
