Developer’s description: For Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and newsfeed regulars, iSkoot’s AT&T Social Net can be the mobile command center for your social life. Any message you receive on any of these services appears on your phone. The app is part of iSkoot’s Kalaida platform, now live with AT&T. It was designed to integrate today’s most popular social media applications and Internet services into one real-time mobile aggregation. iSkoot’s Kalaida platform is commercially deployed through AT&T’s Social Net product and will be available on multiple global Tier 1 carriers by the end of the year.

Pros: Easy set up and navigation. Free.

Cons: Was originally called Notifier so there’s some confusion on the Website, which makes it feel like a product in transition. Doesn’t handle all features of social networks, re-tweeting, for example. No support for IM at this time.

About

MOBILE APPS SHOWDOWN

spacer

The Mobile Apps Showdown is a fast-paced contest where you're asked to weigh in on the apps you think have what it takes to make it. For the months leading up to the 2013 CES, we'll be presenting the contestants to you. You can try the apps, watch demos, make your feelings known, and ultimately vote on a winner. We're platform agnostic, so if it's mobile, it's in the competition.

The top ten apps will join us at 2013 CES for an action packed event hosted by Jon Hein and Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Wrap Up Show.

Robin Raskin, creator of the Mobile Apps Showdown, will be there to emcee events.

spacer

By the end of this year, nearly 50 billion apps will have been downloaded. Only you know which ones are the keepers.
