Now in its 5th season, the Mobile Apps Showdown is the most entertaining way to learn about the hottest new apps. Our contest has been underway online here at MobileAppsShowdown where viewers and a panel of expert judges are checking out the apps, weighing in on the pros and cons of each. The online vote will commence on June 15th. Check back to see how your favorite app is faring.

At the live event on June 26th, 10 finalists will showcase their new productivity, imaging, entertainment, communications and lifestyle apps. Each finalist will have just four minutes to whet the audience’s app-etite with a live demonstration. The audience then votes (using the fantastically accurate applause-o-meter) to name the winner of the Mobile Apps Showdown. Which app do you think is most likely to succeed?
