I may be one of the judges. But my word isn’t the be all and end all. At AndroidTapp and our other AsSeenonPhone sites we listen to our community. That’s why I’ll also be listening to you as I, along with my fellow judges, cull through the apps being submitted to the 2011 edition of Mobile Apps Showdown. So I invite you to comment on any or all of the apps that are entering the competition. Later on, as we make our way to a finalists group we’ll have a way for you to cast a ballot for the apps you think deserve to wear the crown called “Best of Best.”

The Mobile Apps Showdown is a fast-paced contest where you're asked to weigh in on the apps you think have what it takes to make it. For the months leading up to the 2013 CES, we'll be presenting the contestants to you. You can try the apps, watch demos, make your feelings known, and ultimately vote on a winner. We're platform agnostic, so if it's mobile, it's in the competition.

The top ten apps will join us at 2013 CES for an action packed event hosted by Jon Hein and Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Wrap Up Show.
