Developer’s Description: OnStar RemoteLink provides owners with an unprecedented level of connectivity to their vehicle. Drivers can use the app to access real- time vehicle data including odometer readings, fuel level/range, remaining oil life, current and recommended tire pressure and lifetime average miles per gallon. The app also provides remote access to lock and unlock doors, start and cancel start of the engine and activate the horn and lights. As of August, owners can now use RemoteLink to search for an address or point of interest on their phone and send that destination directly to their vehicle. Directions to that destination will automatically be downloaded to the vehicle’s navigation system the next time the driver enters the vehicle. The app also allows owners to contact an OnStar Advisor, their preferred dealer and access account information.
