The Mobile Apps Showdown is a fast-paced contest where you're asked to weigh in on the apps you think have what it takes to make it. For the months leading up to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) we'll be presenting the contestants to you. You can try them, watch demos, make your feelings known, and ultimately vote on a winner. We're platform agnostic, so if it's mobile it's in the competition.

The top ten apps will join us at CES 2012 for an action packed event hosted by Jon Hein and Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Show.

Robin Raskin, creator of the Mobile Apps Showdown, will be there to emcee events.

By the end of this year more than 7 billion apps will have been downloaded. Only you know which ones are the keepers.

I really like that app. Better than every rodabike computer can be. Also the user interface is pretty nice and I enjoy the weather integration as well.

Really nice app. I love to track all my rides with runtastic Roadbike.

The best feature is offline maps as I am a lot abroad and it prevents my phone bill to skyrocket .

I tried the app for my roadbike activities and it’s the bomb. Never thought that an app offers that many very usable features. Especially the offline maps are very a real plus. I would never want to be without my Roadbike app anymore.

Beautiful interface and very usefull - especially with the supported hardware (cadence and speed). love it on my roadbike sessions.

What a great App - I love being on the road with my iPhone and runtastic Roadbike.
I can take my friends with my and get motivated by their live cheerings.
Also the map and offline map functionality is great

Great App!!! Definitely the best in the market… I love it… for me it is the winning app… roadbike app with offline maps, weather information, sensor integration!!!
