6,736 views Oklahoma’s New Channel 6 website has just announced the 2012 Mobile Apps Showdown’s fun new way to interact before the real fun beings this January. MAS has a cool quiz-style new game (link to it on the website) that you can play - the more you play, the better your chances are of winning at the big event in Januar. No, it doesn’t increase your chances of your app winning the MAS, but the biggest player gets a prize.

MOBILE APPS SHOWDOWN
The Mobile Apps Showdown is a fast-paced contest where you're asked to weigh in on the apps you think have what it takes to make it. For the months leading up to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) we'll be presenting the contestants to you. You can try them, watch demos, make your feelings known, and ultimately vote on a winner. We're platform agnostic, so if it's mobile it's in the competition.
The top ten apps will join us at CES 2012 for an action packed event hosted by Jon Hein and Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Show.
Robin Raskin, creator of the Mobile Apps Showdown, will be there to emcee events.
By the end of this year more than 7 billion apps will have been downloaded. Only you know which ones are the keepers.
