Once an item is scanned, users can browse the document, apply labels, search text using OfficeDrop’s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, share and access documents from anywhere with OfficeDrop’s cloud filing cabinet. Businesses can use the OfficeDrop iPhone app to make it easier to capture and share documents on the road. Individuals can use the app to store important paper documents like tax returns, invoices and business receipts, safeguarding against loss and ensuring that they are able to access the documents from anywhere at any time. I use OfficeDrop to track receipts, etc. for expense reports. It’s a great, easy-to-use tool!

I worry about OfficeDrop’s security. How do I know where my paper is going and who is handling it? More physical transparency is necessary for this to succeed.
