True to McAfee’s signature products, the company’s mobile application offers mobile security scans and SiteAdvisor website safety ratings. As well, if you’ve lost your phone, this service offers remote locking, data backup and remote data restoration.
Best Feature: Given the number of spam we see in social network applications, the SiteAdvisor safety ratings offer an added level of protection against bogus links.
Needs Work: Remote locking seems like a silly feature in this day and age. Anyone who does not have the auto password lock timer activated on their phone is at risk of having their photos, tweets and emails infiltrated. I’m not sure that this type of user would necessarily think to download the McAfee application prior to losing their data.

Today’s smart phones do so much for us & we rely on them so much, I see the need to protect the information on my phone. Our smart phones have become targets due to the enormous amount of Android phones out there. Android phones popularity like Windows has such a great market share, it makes them targets for foul play.
I will be purchasing McAfee Mobile Security, as I am a long time trusted customer for home & in my professional career. McAfee has saved my backside many times, Thank you for such great products.
