Developer’s Description: Slacker lets music lovers play personalized music on the go with the Slacker Mobile application. Slacker.com works directly with major and independent labels to license their content legally, giving music fans free access to millions of songs, over 100 pre-programmed genre stations (programmed by real, music expert DJs), thousands of artist stations, and their own custom-created stations. The Slacker Mobile application allows listeners to search for and listen to their favorite artists, while discovering new artists. Users can also view album art, read full band bios, album reviews, and song lyrics as well as rate songs (”heart” or “ban”) to further customize their listening experience. Slacker, the first mobile music offering to allow listeners to cache stations for playback will also soon be offering an integrated on-demand service.
