Windows Phone Thoughts, originally named Pocket PC Thoughts, was founded in 2000 as a place for me to focus my passion for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform. I have a bachelor’s degree in Applied Communications, and have been a Windows Mobile Microsoft MVP since 1997. If I’m not playing with a new Windows phone, I’m probably taking pictures or editing them – I’m a die-hard digital photography fan and have a passion for photos, videos, and music.

Our Host: Robin Raskin
...is a veteran tech journalist and founder of Living in Digital Times. She created the Showdown.

How it works:

Mobile phone apps from any platform can enter. Our experts narrow the field to a Top 20 and then Top 10. We conduct an online vote to determine a 'people's' winner. All 20 semifinalists are invited to demonstrate their apps at the Mobile Apps Showdown stage in the North Hall during CES. The Top 10 appear before a live voting audience at CES to determine an event winner.

When: Saturday, 12:30 p.m., Jan. 9, 2010

Where: Room N255-257, LVCC, North Hall, 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
