Yes, you can take it with you, but only if you have a DISH DVR (aka a ‘Hopper’) and the Hopper Transfer app on your iPhone or iPad. The idea is about as simple as it gets. You can take your DISH recordings and transfer them to your iPad. Then you can watch them on your iPad, on the train, on the plane, or anywhere else you prefer. You can only transfer a recording to your iPad when you’re at home, on your home network. But once its on the iPad, you can watch it wherever your ar, because a network connection is not required. Hopper Transfer is free, so if you have DISH, get it and enjoy your recordings, anywhere.
