Developer’s description: With the free DISH Anywhere Mobile App, you can manage your DISH DVR and even view live TV and DVR content using Sling technology anywhere you have Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection. DISH is the only pay-TV provider that lets you watch all of your content both in-home and on- the-go. You’ll watch all your live TV channels, select On Demand content, all DVR recordings, search the program guide, and control your DISH receiver.

Dish Anywhere lets you take your couch, yeah the couch on which you are a couch potato, and transport it to anywhere that you have an Internet connection. (Well, at least for Dish subscribers.) You can watch the Masters on your iPad while mastering your putting in your backyard. You can watch something from your Dish DVR on your smartphone while waiting at the gate. You can fall asleep watching TV on your iPad, which can settle the argument about whether or not to have a TV in your bedroom. The Dish Anywhere app lets you view your DISH TV live content, or your DISh DVR’d content, on your smartphone or tablet, anywhere you have an Internet connection. It’s a free app, so if you already have DISH for your TV service, it’s a no-brainer to get DISH Anywhere and then get more out your current service, for free.
