Sendboo facilitates real-time personal and professional communications and breaks down language barriers with its innovative integrated translation platform. Users can write a message in their preferred language and if necessary, it will be automatically translated in real-time, into the recipient’s preferred language. Sendboo works for oneon- one messages as well as group chats, wherein all members can send and receive messages in their preferred language.

JUDGES REVIEW

Sendbook describes itself as the next generation of instant messaging. The app functions a lot like popular messaging app WhatsApp, but it’s key feature is its ability to offer real-time translation, so that you can communicate with anyone - without any language barriers.

The Real-time translation feature works pretty well, as does the ability to text message and send image and video messages, and share location data. However, the app can be buggy, and the app’s user interface is also dated and needs to catch up with the likes of Viber and Whatsapp.

Overall, we like Sendboo’s concept, but it has some kinks to work out.
