10Under20: Young Innovators to Watch
CES Salutes young entrepreneurs with scholarships and a free trip to the awards presentation in Vegas.
What do an app designed to stop school bullying, an app to help a Grandpa with Alzheimers, a closed-captioning head wearable, a fingerprint device to protect your digital money, and a science kit subscription service for kids have in common? They are all innovative technologies that were developed by students under the age of 20.
“When you reward a student in their teens, let savor an award moment, and do it all at CES, the epicenter of innovation, it can change their life forever,” says Robin Raskin, Founder of Living in Digital Times and visionary behind the 10Under20 Award.
This year at CES we’ll be honoring 10 students who’ve innovated in 5 different categories: Robotics, App Building, Creativity, Social Good and Sustainability and STEM.
Each student will receive $2,000 in scholarship money plus high tech products worth another $1,000 plus a free trip to accept their award in Las Vegas. (A $5,000 value.)
