The first release of the app uses cellular and GPS technology to link to Mercedes-Benz, its mbrace telematics digital network, and the owner’s vehicle to perform several functions, including locking and unlocking the vehicle, locating the vehicle on a map, and contacting Roadside Assistance.
Pros: The app can help you find your Benz on a map when you can’t find it in a crowded parking lot; access to roadside assistance.
Cons: The app is free but a Mercedes-Benz is not; door lock service available only on select models.
