The one thing I look for in a good application? A nicely designed user-interface. It doesn’t really matter if you’re application is wonderfully complex and capable of many functions, or a one-trick pony. If what I see when the application loads is confusing, messy, or just play ugly, I’m going to have a hard time liking your application. Functionality matters of course, but all the great features in the world won’t matter if the user can’t find them.
My bottom line: A well-crafted user interface
